Roger that, but we're now paying the price of Reagan's folly of killing the Soviet empire by outspending them. It bankrupted them for sure, but it has put us in the fix we find ourselves today. Trillions in funding for weapons we didn't need and the teets those programs became for both the local politicians and the military industrial complex to suckle on - can't really get rid of them even if we wanted to, can't swallow can't spit. Unless the POTUS turns these swords into plowshares, we will continue to remain victims of our past mistakes - including these ones that Messrs. Reagan et.al. made.
