Proud member of the same lot that kept saying, right before the election, we're not in a recession - as if denial would somehow wipe out the recession we were already facing. (Uncle Tom) Steele kept repeating the same Bush/Rove/Limbaugh mantra that "according to the definition of the recession, we're not in a recession". This, of course, all the while the numbers from Boosh's Commerce Department came all skewed and in some cases blatantly cooked up just to ensure that the "definition" of recession constituting decline in two consecutive quarters didn't make the MSM (lies, damn lies and Boosh Government Statistics).
Rethugs like Steele were simply biding time for the election to be over. When that didn't work (got their A$$es whupped during the election), all of them in the Congress and the rank-and-file jumped on the blame-the-Democrat bandwagon saying how the "nearly two years" of Democratic Congressional majority was responsible for this.
Steele can rant all he wants, it still wont' erase the truth and the facts on the ground. Somehow they think that recorded media, very much like their dumba$$ constituents, has an memory bank no greater than a gnat's. Keep wasting your breath my brotha!
