The Farce Behind Quarterly Earnings

American capitalism at its best - collusion between the regulators, free marketers, weak main-stream-media and the Wall Street (or the house of cards). Some say Soccer is the most beautiful game, but I beg to differ. The most beautiful game is this "shell game" played by the money changers, who can change the rules (mark-to-market for one) anytime, with the odds favoring them better than they would any casino.

Can someone really place any confidence in the actual valuation of these banks? I seriously doubt that these banks would be eligible for even Chapter 7 or 11, let alone for TARP funding. The "stress test" is nothing more than a subjective sham, like smelling a f-a-r-t to figure out if whether the patient has an ulcer!

The American tax payer gets screwed, yet again!
