I'm dumbfounded over the fact that folks still find it "... shocking" that the Rethuglicans would say/do the things that are now being exposed on the front pages of major news papers. These VILE people are the most treasonous - if the war of ideas was a physical war, then these A$.$.ho.les gave away the higest ground at the outset (moral that is). Our nation's Raison d'être is not to spread democracy at the business end of a weapon, but to be the beacon of hope and an example of what can be. On that front, we lost this "war" a long time ago.
The previous Rethuglican administration is surely to be blamed, but the cowardly Retuglicans who continue to vote for their party are just as complicit - scared into suckling on the NRA and religious-right's teets, totally unable to deal with the world (and the "real threats") without resorting to violence and blame-games. O'Donnel pwned this a.$$.hol.e as if he was a blue-light special at the local K-Mart..
