When you don't have a pot left to pi$$ in, then the pot starts looking really good for generating revenues! It's no different than the taboo of gambling, slot machines and lottery - they are still considered "bad" by all the religious books, but I don't hear anyone complaining about these vices. I suppose so long as the bills keep getting paid, no body really gives two $hits about it.
