Iran, unlike other countries that acquired nuclear weapons such as India, Pakistan, North Korea and yes, Israel, has always stated that they're acquiring this technology for peaceful purposes (I'm not sure I buy into that, but that's certain something debatable and should be handled by the UN). In addition, Iran is a signatory to the NPT, which the others never honored and never signed up to. I suppose that the lesson learned here is that if you sign the NPT and pursue nuclear ambitions then you're considered flouting it, but it's all well if you acquire them clandestinely, thumbing your nose at the World community all along!

I'm a live-and-let-live kind of person. If our interests are ever threatened, then all bets are off. Until then, we should trust, but certainly verify - unfortunately the only way to verify others' intentions in the past few decades has been to shoot first and ask questions later.

However, most of the time us old-timers at HP just click the "comment" section to get HP's summary post - akin to getting a news bite from USA Today! In that case, the site is never visited and therefore no site visit and any subsequent clicks.

Personally, I don't click on ads (don't even pay attention to them for that matter) and therefore worry that others are probably doing the same thing - resulting in less and less money for beat reporters and other journalists to share.

Revenue model aside, the real work of a journalist needs to be properly compensated. Any sharing model that accomplishes that can prove Mr. Cuban wrong.

However, I've often wondered (at times felt guilty) that I'm getting work of some beat reporter or an exclusive story of a reputable reporter for free (that excludes Faux Noose BTW) - not knowing how that reporter/journalist is being compensated if we didn't pay for it. Advertisement revenues (redirection and clicks in this case) are a good model, but I'm not sure how we can come with the sharing model (or if there's one that can be adapted). Absent any tangible revenues, and explanation for my earlier question, I'm afraid Cuban maybe on to something.

If I were the Pak Navy, I wouldn't modify the Harpoon missile at all (or their inventory of the French Exocet) - they are far more accurate than the Chinese Ying-Ji-802 therefore effective and worth keeping intact. Pak Navy has access to plenty of Ying-Ji-802, that cost about a 10th of the Harpoon/Exocet and don't require a second thought for modification or the subsequent grief they'd get. The Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT - the national arms manufacturing factory) has always been adept at modifying and/or copying Chinese arms and munitions than the American hardware - less complicated, and no political strings attached.
